SPADA-thon 2015 Raises Thousands for Area Organizations

SPADA Salon & Day Spa is pleased to announce that SPADA-thon, an annual event to support PACE Center for Girls, Lee and the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida, raised $23,000 for the two worthy organizations, with $11,500 going to each organization, and collected 300 dresses to be sold at Love That Dress! on August 26th at the Embassy Suites in Estero.

Guests enjoyed specially priced salon services, a silent auction, fashion boutique vendors, food, wine and music, all while raising money for the two groups. Admission to the event was one or more new or gently used dress, handbag, accessory or shoes to be sold at Love That Dress! or a $5.00 donation.

This year’s event raised a record amount of money. SPADA owners Judy and Andrew Williams are thrilled with the amount of money raised. Judy said, “We were determined to make it another record-breaking year, and to have raised over $23,000 is phenomenal. We are so glad that we can do this for these two great organizations and look forward to making it even better next year.”

SPADA is grateful to the following companies, who sponsored this year’s exciting fundraiser: SS Hookers and CONRIC PR & Marketing, Gold Sponsors; Siesta Pebble, Silver Sponsor; and Bronze Sponsors: The Home Mag; Duane Cheney with Raymond James; Your Walking Billboard; Mike and Dawn Sullivan with State Farm; Jason’s Deli; New Beginnings; Priority Payment Services and HBKS Wealth Advisors.
